Life coming to Crittenton

The reason I am in placement is because of substance abuse, fighting and not listening to my parents. I did not expect the fact that I had to be sent away for me to start listening and changing. The reason I did drugs before I came here was to take my mind off of coming to placement. This is my first time being in placement. The only reason I fought is because people made me mad and I really did not care anymore what happened until something really happened to me.

The changes I made in placement are really good. You would never even know it was me. I do not do drugs anymore and do not like fighting anymore and I listen to my parents now.

Aint gonna tie me down

Ain’t gonna tie me down means to me that I can do with my life what I set out to do.In this world I want to be a doctor. I want to be a doctor because I want to be able to support my family. I want to be able to give my kids money if they ask me for it and not tell them no. I do not want to give my kids everything they want, because if I do that they will not know what to do without money and they will depend on me. I just want to be able to go shopping and live a comfortable life; and I want them to learn how to save their money, lol .

I want to be able to safe a person’s life and be able to tell them that they will be ok now I have helped them or, that they will be ok and they will get better soon. If somebody has cancer I want to be able to tell them, I can help. I want to contribute to other people’s lives and help to find cures for diseases. I want to be successful and I will not let anyone hold me back, so that is why I will not let people tie me down.

Productive Citizens

What does a productive citizen mean? A productive citizen means to be a responsible person. It means fulfilling the duties that we have as citizens, such as voting, voicing your opinion, and supporting a cause. I am responsible citizen because I am going to school, and I am doing community service. Everybody should try to be productive citizens. You should vote, if you can, because you should have the right to voice your opinion. You should also make responsible decisions in your life instead of everybody making them for you. You should have to work in your life because it is not right to collect things from the government, when you are capable and have the ability to go get a job.

Our game is about life in placement. We want to teach others about some of the irresponsible decisions teenagers make that could lead them to life in placement, and maybe they can avoid the same mistakes we made
