Choose to do it and do it

The difference between duties and responsibilities is that duties you have to do and responsibilities you can choose to do. Some of the duties you have to do in life are attending school and obeying the law. Some of the responsibilities include respecting and protecting others rights, staying formed, helping the community, and voting. You do not have to do these things in your life; you have the choice. One of the most important duties of citizenship is obeying the law. I read in my civics book that “The U. S system of government can work only when citizens respect and obey the law.”

Of all the responsibilities they are, I think that voting and respecting and protecting others rights are the most important. Voting is important because when I vote I am helping to deciding who the leaders of the government will be and helping to determine what actions the government will take. Respecting and protecting the rights of others is important because you have to know what rights we share so we do not violate them.

Globaloria and ME

I like blogging the most because it is really fun. We get choose what we would like to write about, as long as it is Civics related. I like blogging because I can relate the Civics topics to my life. We also write about our games. My game is about girls having rights in placement and knowing what those rights are. Although girls are in placement, they deserve to have rights. At the same time, I am learning that with those rights come responsibilities. Staff also has rights, and we need to respect their rights.

I also enjoy my wiki space. What I like about wiki is that I can upload videos and images on my space. I can put whatever I want, but it has to be appropriate. My wiki space reflects me.
